2008

It's a new year! I'm sure this year will have many changes in store for us. I can't believe 2007 is over. It seems like just yesterday I was writing down my goals of 2007. Now who knows where that list is or what it said! But 2008 is in full swing. Here's some photos of our most recent little girl and the holidays.

At our little town square's Christmas Parade. Ellie loved all the floats and seeing Santa Claus on the fire truck.

We had an ice storm in mid December. I'm not sure if you can tell but this flag outside our home is completely frozen! The picture of the branches shows how the water just freezes completely over the whole tree. Our town was just fine power-wise but Joplin and parts of Webb City were out of power for days, I think 9 at the most. Brad had 3 days off from school for it.

Ellie and I watched "The Grinch" and I guess I took it a little too far... I just wanted to see if I could do it! And I could. Ellie has a cup on her head and her hair gathered around it. She wore her hair like this to the ward Christmas party that night. She had a red ribbon around it and a jingle bell. She was Cindy Lou Hoo through and through. We're thinking next year for Halloween Brad can be the Grinch, Ellie as Cindy Lou, not sure who I would be...

I'll put some more up of Christmas and beyond. Plus we have a funny bar story to tell everyone. Keep your eyes peeled for the next post. :)

She is so cute! I saw your blog on Merediths and had to comment on the great execution. :) One of my students last year was Cindy Lou also.

I love it! Ellie is totally Cindy Lou Hoo! Good job on her hair. I can't even imagine what an ice storm would be like. Craziness.
